Dayna has an impressive competitive tennis background as well. She played collegiate tennis at Seattle University where she played #1 singles and doubles. She reached a National doubles ranking of #14, and a National singles ranking of #27. She was honored as 2nd team All-American and led the team to the National Tournament. She continues to play competitively in USTA. Dayna has vast experience working with all levels of adult players and also works extensively with junior players from young beginners to the high performance levels. She sports a fast-paced, positive style of teaching, always wanting to challenge her students.

Jennifer Anne Shorr

Jennifer, originally from California, is a four time Seattle Open Champion and five time Northern California Player of the year. She has held world, national, and sectional ranking. Certified by both the USPTA and USRSA, Jennifer has over 60 pro titles and also once held the world record for the women’s fastest serve at 119 mph! Jennifer has 15+ years of coaching and teaching experience and enjoys working with players of all ages and abilities from those picking up a racquet for the first time to the open competitor. Her ‘world class’ coaching is grounded in developing sound stroke technique, great footwork, an understanding of percentage based strategy and developing the mental toughness and fitness necessary to play to one’s true potential.

Caleb Camp

Originally from Las Vegas, Caleb has been playing tennis since the age of 12. After playing both school tennis for Green Valley High School, and USTA junior tournaments in the valley, he moved to Logan, Utah to complete his bachelor’s degree at Utah State University. Caleb taught tennis for his university class curriculum while also working as a teaching assistant and stringer at the local sports club. Caleb was president of the Utah State University Tennis Club (where he earned the 2016 Intermountain Leader of the Year Award) and worked as the head coach for both the Girls’ and Boys’ Ridgeline High School Tennis programs. After graduating with his bachelor’s in Health Education and Promotion, with an emphasis in Health Science, Caleb looked to move to a beautiful place where he could continue playing at the NTRP 4.5-5.0 level, and teach the sport we all love.

Katherine Van Slyke

Katherine, who was previously practicing health and life coaching at BAC, knows how important it is to treat each client differently, recognizing that every individual is unique in what motivates them and what keeps them on track. After having children and approaching mid-life, Katherine struggled with weight and depression. However, she has also experienced the turn-around that diet, exercise and mindfulness can make in having a positive life experience. She grew up playing 3 sports through high school and continued playing lacrosse and tennis through college. To this day she is still an avid tennis player. In addition to being one of our trainers, she is also a certified tennis professional. Katherine is now taking junior and new/beginning tennis players for private and group lessons.
